Platform Open Arts - Exhibition Highlights

As I'm writing this post I realise it's a little long overdue but I've finally found some time to sit down and put something together. I was recently involved in an amazing annual exhibition called Platform Open Arts at Morphets of Harrogate which showcased the work of established and emerging artists from across the UK. Morphets of Harrogate is a wonderful independent fine art auction house in the centre of Harrogate and was the perfect backdrop for the exhibition which included artwork as diverse as painting, sculpture, drawing, ceramics, photography, textiles and video. I was super excited to be part of the exhibition because I was showing work alongside a plethora of talented artists including Garry Barker, Lily Shaw, Uriah Gabriel and Adam King.

The private view was fantastic! There was live piano, champagne and delicious canapés as well as a lovely speech from Heidi Donohoe thanking Morphets for hosting the show. It was a great experience and I felt really important with my name badge. I met loads of great people and was able to chat to some of the guests and artists which is always a bonus for networking!

Because the private view was so well attended I only managed to get handful of photos of the artworks but I hope you enjoy this little peak into what was on offer at the exhibition!
